Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

Naperville, Du Page County (July 26, 2002)

From the air, you can see a series of broken, concentric rings cut into the field off Diehl Road in north Naperville. This formation was personally investigated by Roger Sugden who discovered quickly that the formation had been created using a weed-trimmer, and that all the plants had been cut/shredded by this method. This was confirmed by witnesses who observed several men in the field with the trimmers.

There is some speculation that this was one of the several planned attempts at crop circle publicity by Disney in an attempt to promote the movie “Signs”.
